● The development and applications of four-dimensional ultrafast scanning electron microscopy for materials and physical sciences applications including semiconductor surfaces, device interfaces and nanomaterials

● Femtophysics and femtochemistry

● Interfacial charge transfer and subsequent charge separation dynamics

● Nanoscale material dynamics, e.g., nanowires, quantum dots and nanoparticles

● Acoustic dynamics of nanostructures and photonic nanostructured crystals study by using light scattering spectroscopy (Brillouin and Raman)

● 3D modeling simulation and finite element analysis by using MATLAB and COMSOL
